Development of Automatic Electric Drive Drilling System for Core Drilling

چکیده

Core drilling has been widely used in mineral exploration with diamond-impregnated technology. Automation is a critical technology improving core efficiency and reducing costs, but there no complete automation that can control the entire process. In this paper, an electric drive laboratory system was established using programmable logic controller (PLC) A proportional integration differentiation (PID) algorithm developed to achieve closed-loop of weight-on-bit (WOB) during Four modes were for system, their performances verified by test. constant-speed mode proposed as most suitable system. The recommended rate penetration (ROP) rock sample bit experiment obtained through power optimization results show optimal rotation speed ranged from 700 1000 rpm, ROP 2.0 2.6 m/h.
